I've just eaten a Cadbury twirl. The thinking at the moment is that the wizard makes the twirls inside, I think he's just made the whole bar smaller. :0)
Exactly. There is a name for this process which escapes me at the moment. Maintain the price but reduce the quantity. My box of porridge oats which used to contain 500 g now only has 450 g.
The word you're looking for Jackdaw is 'shrinkflation'. A few less tea bags in a box, 2 less choccy fingers, rounded (instead of square) segments of chocolate, a few thousand less grains of soap powder, etc.
The average special offer of Lor coffee is £5 (large=165g. if you buy two of the small jars, they have 100g in each, they cost £2.50 each, needless to say you are well in, buying two of the small ones. :0)
Thecorbyloon @ 10;17; Is that what they say. Well, rounding the individual segments apparently equates to 14% less chocolate. Though, of course, reduces the price by 0%.
Much smaller TCL than what a twirl used to be, and to be honest it was just an orange flavoured bit of chocolate.
Just wish I could remember how much I paid for it ? Think it was something like 70p !!
