We had Greek salad which made a very nice change, I’d forgotten just how much I like feta cheese. And some fancy bread.
Today we’re having peppers, onions and tomatoes with eggs cracked into it, something we always enjoy.
Tomorrow could be anything, I’d appreciate some inspiration.
Fal Estuary mussels - I was given a bag of 90 of them, 40 gone to a friend.....the last lot were excellent and none broken or unpopped. Bit of a faff to clean but 30 minutes with an paring old knife soon saw that job done. Moules Marinière coming up with Belgian style frites.
Love baked figs and Parma ham, and sausages, mash and gravy. And scampi from a plastic bag. And all the other meals mentioned.
Just love food really ;)
I adore figs...I only discovered fresh ones about 6-7 years ago. We always had dried ones at Christmas. I also love good quality sausages, Parma ham, mozzarella, sardines, feta.
Can I visit you tigger? I promise I won't take *too* many figs. ;)
I don't like dried figs or fig roll. The only time I could ever get the fresh ones was in Cyprus, whenever we went there. Nearly all my relatives had trees so they were all free :o)
