Plain tap water is my favourite drink! Ours actually tastes good, but a lot of tap water tastes chlorinated. I've always got a glass of water on the go. First thing I do on walking up is drink a tumbler of water. I drink black tea and a coffee after our evening meal and a very occasional glass of red wine.
that "smart water" brand makes me laugh - it's distilled, then they put the minerals back!
Diddly, I like carbonated water. It's refreshing, and if you have kids, a splash of squash makes a cheap, healthier version of Fanta etc.
danny @ 14.53...it was meant to be a light-hearted comment!
However, I would argue that (if the second supply was very low in all dissolved ions) then you are diluting everything in the first supply ie you are diluting the water. (In the same way as you dilute orange squash). But, let's not take it too seriously!
According to W.C.Fields, none.

He said he would never drink anything fish had ***ed in.
Didn't realise you were Irish Mozz! I was advised to drink a glass of water before every meal, apparently aids digestion.
It's a myth maggie.
It can't aid digestion if it dilutes your stomach acid.

Rather drinking water before each meal is touted as a weight loss technique because you are less likely to overeat, particularly as hunger symptoms and thirst symptoms can be difficult to distinguish from one another.
I can't get through a meal without drinking water. It helps the food go down. I've been the same since childhood. I suppose all those years ago children did drink was milk and water and occasional cups of tea.
Coffee was Camp coffee. Squash and lemonade was reserved for birthday parties and I never liked either .
Can only drink water if it's chilled from the fridge and has some ice cubes in!
don't touch the stuff - fish fornicate in it.
I have been on a weight reduction diet for almost a week, fasted for two days then just rabbit food, but loads and loads of water.
Already seeing benefits, regards my Crohns disease and bowels better.
That's good news Theland.
Retrocop - I take a dim view of your rude and condescending response to my comment. Fine if you have a medical need to drink a great deal of water but I bet your medical adviser didn't stipulate it should be fizzy bottled water with PLJ in it! I still maintain that bottled water is ecologically bad even if you do recycle the plastic bottles. I'm pretty sure that Greta would disapprove.
i'm pretty sure retro wouldn't care if greta approved or not :)
I've always got a bottle of water with me and sip throughout the day.

Our water is quite chlorinated/hard (South London). Last year I invested in a Brita Water filter and it tastes and smells a lot better. Haven't bought bottled water since.
I want to make myself beautiful for you Jiminy :-)

(Only six stone to go!)
Stuff Greta. Diddlydoo. Go tell the NHS about use of plastic. Most of their medical equipment is single use plastic including scalpel handles and syringes. It is not sterilised but thrown away. I am sure you would be familiiar with medical saline drip.It comes in plastic disposable bags. The thermometer tips are plastic and are thrown away after single use. Don't lecture me on your petty ecological issues. Go and moan to Greta and NHS procurement. 4x 2litre bottles of carbonated water is about 50-60p a bottle. If you are that skint tough I'll do some crowd funding for you.. I don't happen to enjoy the chlorinated water our independent water company distributes.
My tap water is disgusting...all I can smell are chemicals some days. Letting it run doesn't help...not that it's supposed to.
Dont touch it,Ashiki....remember W.C.Fields dictum...
