and sausages tonight.
Found the cabbage pie thing on YouTube and thought it looks tasty and a different way of doing cabbage.
Shredded cabbage, three beaten eggs, 80g flour, lots of seasoning, all mixed together then bunged in a frying pan, tightly covered, for 15-20 minutes. Turned over, sprinkled with grated cheese and done for another 15 minutes.

Finely slice/shred cabbage. Lightly cook until just soft.
Mix with sauteed shallots or spring onions + minced garlic , salt, pepper, any other seasonings or herbs you fancy. Layer in a baking dish with cheese...I've used Boursin and extra mature cheddar. Pour over double cream and a bit more grated cheddar. Bake until golden and bubbly. Goes really well with sausages.

That does indeed sound very tasty Pasta. I used to make cabbage in cheese sauce..steam the cabbage, put into oven proof dish, cover with cheese sauce and shove in oven till brown.
I’m guessing the addition of flour will make it a bit kind of cakey or something in the middle, a bit firmer. Will let you know how it turns out.
