Usually make an extra effort for our Saturday evening meal but due to a number of reasons I really can’t be bothered, so we’re having spicy bean burgers in oven bottom muffins, spicy wedges, and a tin of sweet corn.
And a slice of chocolate cake other half made this afternoon.. I washed up and did the buttercream filling, and the icing for the top.
I’d really like a ribeye steak or a Chinese takeaway :/

Jacket spud and fish fingers.
Breaded plaice (Youngs), chips (Aunt Bessie's) and mushy peas (tinned) here.

Pizzas here, but I'm jealous of Prudie's meal! We cooked Kobe wagyu beef (we even say the authenticated certificate) when on a cookery course in Kyoto; absolutely beautiful. Cut into strip and cook for 30 secs a side is how we were shown to do it.
Chicken, chips & onion rings for me.
Doesn't come easier. A delicious takeaway lasagne from our favourite village pub.
