What are you having/ had for lunch today?

I've got watercress and coconut soup. Lightly sauteed onion and potato with added vegetable stock and coconut milk and fresh pureed watercress served with soured cream and crusty bread.
Ready any minute now.

JD you are being a wee bit miserable. What's the matter. this is supposed to be a bit of lighted fun thread.
We bought two Turkey crowns with that in mind LJ, I don't mind doing it, in fact I quite enjoy it
JD , get a frozen meal out, read the ingredients , pop them on here, now your posh...sorted haha

LGC her little sister was helping her by crawling through it. I cleaned them, clean clothes and took them for a walk otherwise I would have cried. I should have tackled the carpet immediately but didn't have the heart. An hour later I started. Both of them in the playpen. Stained for ever. Joys of motherhood.

I have to add I still love them dearly.
I had some baguette with flora spread for brunch. Having homemade cannelini bean salad with olives, sundried toms, olive oil and lemon dressing.....with more baguette.....later on :o)
I bought a dinner deal at our local co op frozen turkey and veggies + pudding for £10 will have that either New Year's Eve or New Year's Day. Still got some pigs in blankets to use up

Sounds easy to prepare Tonyv and that is just what you want at the moment. Makes it easier for you to spend time with Jen but still gives you a meal. Good for you.
The Coop very often have good meal deals on Tony
Smoked haddock chowder, been to Waitrose, and a panino with boxing day ham, ancient tomatoes, cheese and onion relish. I've been to three supermarkets today to get dried peas for pea and ham soup, plenty of loo rolls, pasta,etc but no dried peas!
