Air Fryer Recommendation

Seeing as we have no kitchen now until at least August, we think we may need to take the plunge and buy an airfryer.

Any recommendations? We don't mind forking out for a Ninja Foodie if it's worth the money.

Which one have you got, JJ? My friend has one and loves it but she did have to experiment. She found a spoon of lard works best for chips

can't remember Barry and it is at the back of cupboard, to be honest I didn't give it much time as the noise of it annoyed me too.

My friend has a Tower fryer which she loves, but I dontl know enough to say it's the best. There's a good article here with lots of info on different kinds for different needs

I think if Lady has no kitchen she's not going to be put off by the minor imperfections of an air fryer - better than nothing.

I love my pressure cooker/slow cooker combination. It's a Sage and is very easy to use

I also have a twin induction hob that plugs in to an ordinary socket. I bought it when my cooker was waiting to be repaired and it is as effective as my main induction hob. Very useful still, I use it outside and when I need an extra hob. Cheap as chips and takes up hardly any cupboard space

I started out with a tower one last year but it broke within weeks.My son bought me a Ninja one for my birthday and i love it.Use it most days and my ovens rarely used now.

LadyCG. Until you're kitchen's finished which I'm sure will be fabulous just go for one or two basic air fryers. They do everything well. When your kitchen's done you can freecycle them but I bet you won't!

Yep - either the basic Philips model, or (much cheaper) the similar Lidl/Aldi versions - all work very well - just think of them as tiny (but powerful) fan ovens.

We have a Ninja health grill and air fryer. I use it almost every day. It grills, roasts, fries and bakes. It's quite difficult to clean the heating element compartment though.

If you do steak and chips, one is going to have to be kept warm whilst the other one cooks. You can't do both at the same time.
