Are you a porridge person?
I'm getting a bit fed up with my usual breakfast so thought I'd buy some porridge oats instead, but when I looked on the Tesco website, I was amazed at how many different brands and types there are.
If you like porridge and have tried different types, could you recommend any please?

I too cook it in a saucepan briefly say a few mins, cover it and eat it next morning, i normally use soya milk, plus a ripe banana, plus a shake of cinammon.

Yes...there is such a thing as savoury oats. I've bookmarked a recipe that has sesame oil, a bit of coconut milk, and miso in it. A friend tried it and really liked it.
I don't think oats are all the same, if only for how they are processed. As piggy said, some are like sawdust...and mush when cooked. Eeuuchh.
