Junk Food / Ready Meals M&S, Waitrose
49 Answers
We are told that junk food and ready meals are bad for us and should only be eaten occasionally, so why are M&S and Waitrose ready meals considered to be better?
When an own brand ready meal is recalled very often it is recalled from many different supermarkets including M&S and Waitrose, proving it is no different (or not much different) from, say, Asda or Iceland

Besides not wanting them noone would deliver to us, except for alocal pub during the first lockdown. We always have ready meals in the freezer because when we cook casseroles, curries or pasta dishes, we cook enough for two meals and freeze one or sometimes two. We have now started to eat out at least once a week again. Hooray!
Fray Bentos steak pie is 15% meat, the largest ingredient is water. No idea how they can call it a steak pie. A Pukka steak pie is 29% meat and has pastry top and bottom.
Pat, Ocado delivers M&S, don't know if they deliver in your area. I have a lot of home cooked meals in the freezer, too. I use left over casserole and stew to make pies
