Just roast them till the skin goes golden brown or crispy.

My post at 16.56 was meant to be a light-hearted comment re the cost of energy.
Having said that, there are dozens of recipes cooking chicken thighs on the stove-top. (If I really wanted them roasted, I'd be using my combination microwave, convection oven and grill - perfect results in very little time).

This might be a bit late but turn them over occasionally so that you don't get a soggy bottom. :-)
