Firstly, (probably too late for this) line the pan with two layers of heavy duty aluminium foil and spray that with baking spray bfore baking the meat. However, if you didn't do that, then place a couple of cups of water in the pan and add a quarter cup of dishwashing soap and place it back in the oven to heat for 30 minutes or so... remove and let it cool enough to scrub. This will loosen the baked on "grunge" quite a bit. Alternately, place several cups of boiling water in the pan and add the same amount of soap and let it sit. Best of luck!
Fill, or half fill, the pan with boiling water and add a generous amount of soda crystals. Allow to soak for a few hours then scrub with a stiff brush or pad.
Half fill pan with water and a cup of biological soap powder, boil until grease lifts off.
I saw on the Kim and Aggie "how clean is your house" show they poured cheap cola into a dirty saucepan and put it on the stove to boil, within minutes the dirt had come away.. you could probably do this with your roasting pan too
