The Price Of Bananas Has Gone Through...
News1 min ago
I've recently rediscovered a regular favourite from my youth, a hot sweet mug of Horlicks, so nice on these cold evenings. It has also made me remember Ovaltine & Bournvita. Do they still exist? Does anyone else like Horlicks or any other winter warming milky drink?

These are not as nice as the one you make with hot milk, but like Barry, I'm trying to watch my weight.
I've got sachets of the instant versions of Horlicks, Ovaltine and Cadbury's Drinking Chocolate on the shelf behing me here in my bedroom. I'll often have one of those drinks just before going to bed (although it's just as likely that I'll have a decaf tea instead).
As has been said, Cadbury's discontinued Bournvita in the UK in 2008. However it's still manufactured for the Indian market and available on Amazon UK:

I am diabetic so it's not good for me.
