A group of guys, all turning 40, discussed where they should meet for lunch. Finally it was agreed that they would meet at Wetherspoons in Leeds because the waitresses had big breasts and wore mini-skirts.

Ten years later, at age 50, the friends once again discussed where they should meet for lunch. Finally it was agreed that they would meet at Wetherspoons in Leeds because the waitresses were attractive. The food and service was good and the beer selection was excellent.

I'm sure there is more than one pub like that, tho I am in part guessing as I've not really watched the video. I have been in at least two pubs that banned mobile phones. One in London one in Somerset somewhere. Not a problem for me personally, though banning the use of phones seems more problematic than banning TVs music or fruit machines. Music is a particular irritation of mine, though again it depends on that you expect from your "pub experience"
I'm not bothered about phonmes per se but some aspects do annoy me. Like when some knobusheadus is playing a loud video that is just a racket to the rest of us! For the most part though I'm not bothered but I am sad that these days when I look round the pub 90% of people are staring at their phones no doubt doing twittubeface or whatever instead of social interaction. I take my phone and answer it when it rings, I don't stare at it continually like so many seem to. Recently I have been able to connect it to the juke box and play tunes, that has proven to be a revalation!
//Mobile phones are silent whats the problem?//
The problem is that they are not. On holiday in Majorca a middle aged woman pulled out a phone and started playing a loud dance video. In the middle of the entertainment!
Plus the there is the end of the bell that shouts down the phone and the screeching woman to her mates on a video call.
And thats before we get to the stupid ring tones....
