I have seen people eat chips with a cooked breakfast.

It would be very bad for me (I eat a restricted diet) but it might be okay for you.

Why do you ask? Is this likely to be a permanent option - or just a 1-off?  If the latter - then it doesn't matter at all.

Permanently --- it wouldn't be particularly healthy to eat chips every day as well.
