maple syrup products

does anyone know where I can buy maple sugar, cream and butter from a uk mail order company? I know I can get it straight from Canada and the US but the p and p and customs make this very expensive.

Complete devastation on our land! Another horrendous storm. Luckily our land wasnt landscaped in the first place!!! This bad weather should stop tomorrow or Sunday. Its so much cooler. I've just been collected my solar lights from.everywhere and fished a few out of the pool! But being me I will still go out for coffee!!

good morning. Sorry to hear about your weather Neti. We have been lucky so far but it can't last. Its getting chilly here too so have decided that the tortoises need to be indoors for a few days so my newly beautiful guest room need to be turned into a zoo annexe.

We had a break in the weather so I did nip to village. By heck it was a bit chilly! but got caught in rain on the way home. Hopefully tortoises wont mess up the new decorations!!

gorgeous Indian summer day here. We went down to Richmond to watch the fag end of the Great River Race

We just saw sonm of the canoes coming in; if there were any longboats with costumed Vikings, or pirate ships, we missed them. Then we strolled along to the river bank to Twickenham, had an ice cream and came home. Very nice for mid-September.

warm day here. Screaming kids and barking dogs all around. Mine did there best to be good but its very stressy for them.

Yes a nice day here sunny but fresh. We have dismantled the canopy over the pool and stored it until next year
Pool wont need shading for the next month. Just watched Barey Manilow who I adore on Proms in the Park. Mr N left the room!! Barry looks like a marionette unfortunately but I still love him!!!

Have you recovered from your soaking Neti ? I saw in the news how horrendous it was in parts of Spain.

Just booked myself a ticket to see Downton on Thursday at the new local cinema in the High St.Not far to walk and only £6.95 for old fogies.

Oh shaney I want to see that. It will come here for maybe 2 days so will have to walk past our cinema to see. But it will have spanish subtitles and it always puts me off as I'm thinking oh I wouldnt say it like that!!

Weather still uncertain. Not rainy but overcast but I have got my kingsize bedding washed and dried with help from tumble drier. Still very humid though so need another storm. Spain's Costas were hit terribly . We had flooded roads but nothing too dire
Thank heavens the house didnt leak. One room has a flat roof but that was ok too.

it was rather drab here so I went into town to pick up my new glasses (which are an mprovement) and it was pouring. Came home and it's just drab again but still dry. Very localised monsoons we have here.

Have just heard that my bro has sold his posh holiday cap in Devon, Otter Falls as at 81 hes had enough. Then today he fell off his ride and mow lawn mower and it fell on top of him and he was flown in an air ambulance to
Plymouth hospital . Hes in an induced coma.
He has 8 ribs cracked and or broken and they have to operate immediately to get them away from his lungs. But the doctors said if wasnt in such good health that it would be dire!

I'm so sorry to hear about your brother Neti.I hope he'll be alright.
Older brothers in their eighties are a worry as I know only too well.
'Twas dull here too with rain this morning but it looks a bit better from tomorrow.It's chilly of a night now too. Time to dig out the Ugg slippers and bedsocks and check the hot water bottle stoppers :)
