hello! well done! jaffa cakes got me through the first bit of my diet, i have now lost 3st 2lb and am still going! cadburys have released something called a brunch bar its a ceral bar in various flavours but all have a yummy dairy milk coating on the bottom! still only 150 cals but u actually get the 'real choc taste' which stops the cravings as apposed to that synthetic dark choc taste u get with most low fat snacks. v. filling too i find! hope that is of help to you i have many other diet tips to share also but will not bore u anymore!!!!!!

No please share, i would love some more tips!!!
I don't eat a lot of chocolate...but if I do get a craving,I buy one of the childrens bars. There's so little chocolate in it,that you get the taste, but don't feel guilty for finishing the whole bar!

Quavers a good for snack attacks!!! I used to only eat snack a jacks but a bag of quavers even though smaller has less calories but with out the cardboard texture!!! And when on a sunday i would do my family a big fry up to cure the hangovers, now i have really low fat sausage (icelands good intentions are excellent) they are still real pork but when u grill them NO FAT DRIPS OUT!!!! with half a tin of beans (people always think they have to buy weight watchers beans, but that in unneccessary) with 2 eggs mixed with skimmed milk and microwaved in a mug (scrambled egg) or on a hign lipped plate (omlette) and 2 wholemeal toast with st ivel gold lowest ever spread (lowest fat spread in britain i beleive) and whoila! a low fat altenative to a fry up and yummy aswell. you can have grilled toms and other veg if u wish as well. if that makes any sense, it is an excellent low fat alternative.

I tend to snack on yogurt coated nuts (you can get them in health food shops). They taste 'almost' like nuts coated in chocolate
I am on a low fat diet from my GP because of high cholesterol and a thryoid problem which made me gain weight . So far I have lost 21pounds in eight weeks.Yippee!
My downfall has always been chocs, cakes, cream, butter ,biscuits..oh loads of fattening stuff !
My latest trick is a low fat yogurt with a couple of meringue nests crumbled into it.It gives me that sugar high and then I am O.K. I dare not go anyway near a bar of chocolate or packet of biccies because I know I can't stop at one !! For other sweet treats I sprinkle raisins on my weetabix or porridge.
Sad isn't it !!!
i always find drinking a diet fizzy drink before a meal makes me eat less, only trouble is gives me terrible wind! So can only do this at the weekend in the comfort of my own home!

hi depends what diet your on. jaffa cakes have only got 1 gram of fat in and crunchies arent too bad either as all honeycomb. meringue nests are gud fill them with fruit. failing that try hot chocolate sachets low in calories and feel like you've eaten a chocolate bar after.

I'd have to say sugar-free jelly, hardly any calories, perfect for a sweet snack

Thank you all so much for the tips!! Theres plenty of ideas to keep my sweet tooth at bay!! Haven't heard the fizzy drink idea before will defiantly give that a go.
Another scrummy treat if you like grapes is to pop a few in the freezer for a while. When you eat them, it's like a combination of a boiled sweet that lasts ages before you get to the lovely fruity, juicy bit.

Jelly bears
Dried fruit

You can get individual pots of Light Ambrosia custard, which are about 100kcals each. They taste like normal custard too. x
My friend makes a fruit compote out of berries and soft fruit. Bung it in saucepan, add bit of diet lemonade and heat gently. It's delicious, especially with not so healthy ice cream!

I always like a chopped up banana with a banana yogurt poured over, or strawberries with strawberry yogurt. I think you get the idea!

Can't believe I forgot my saviours! In Tesco, etc, they sell Skinny Cow Ice Cream. In lolly form, cones, in tubs and swirl pots and it is delicious. It's so much better than any low fat ice cream I've ever had, tastes like the real thing. I am addicted to the mint choc chip lollies at the moment- just 90 cals each! x
