Question Author

Stella or Guinness mmmmmmmmmmmmm.
budweiser or heininken is good to x
Speights from New Zealand is just divine!
Berliner Weier - and despite the fact it looks vile, a shot of green (woodruff) syrup in it adds to the flavour. Or any wheat beer.
Corona with lime wedge in the summer, or Hoffbrau in the winter. Stella is a bit chavy....
Bottled Becks or draught Carslberg Export or Grolsch.

Like Becks, but it's too expensive, I really don't like bud, I've never understood why it's so popular. Wife Beater gives me a headache, Carlsberg export is ok and like heiniken when it's really cold.

Becks and cobra...which reminds me...must shoot up the offy.Englishbird 660 ml 1:80 in tescos(becks)ripoff in pubs if you buy the small bottles.cheers...( :-)

Stout - Guinness

Bitter - Timothy Taylor's Landlord

If it's a really hot day (joke), I like Heineken, with lime or lemondade. When we're in Cyprus I love Keo lager with the same.

*lemonade - never heard of lemondade!
Kronenbourg 1664 for me, please!
Just gimme a good ole carling black label or hoegaarden if I'm being posh!
carling extra cold in the pub.....or a bottle of Bud with a barbecue....roll on summer!
Good grief...doesn't anyone drink beer any more? Apart from Big Mac, that is, of course. Timothy Taylor's Landlord, as he says, Deuchar's IPA or Oakham JHB are always there or thereabouts in the prizes at real ale festivals. Wonderful, all of them.

MrSmudge has just got in & says his fav's are:

  • Timothy Taylors Landlord (Bottle or Draft)

  • Stella Artios

  • Fullers ESB

  • Sainsbury's Diet Pls

But at present is on white wine & soda for dietry purposes!

or a decent pint of Brains will always hit the spot
For real beer, rather than that gassed up stuff they sell in cans. Tom Wood's Highwood Brewery, Barnetby, Lincolnshire. They have the stuff on tap at the Cleethorpes branch of the Royal Air Force Association and it's a great pleasure to have to drink it. I always try local ales when travelling around the country and I'm rarely disappointed. (don't forget, Tom Woods, real Lincolnshire beer !! )
