can you still buy ok sauce? i've never heard of it but my mum wants to know and i cant find anything on the internet about it.

O.K. Fruity Sauce was originally manufactured by the Mason company and was a favourite sauce used by King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. It became bought out by various companies, losing its Royal Warrant in the process, until becoming a somewhat exclusive Fruit Sauce. Sainsbury`s used to stock it but phased it out around 4 years ago . But it`s still available at exclusive stores such as the famous Selfridges Store in London`s Oxford Street where customers can buy a bottle (or more). It`s a wonderfully different sauce and the only one that I would care to use. bluescrystal (Chris)

Do you live near a city? Many of them have china town districts, Manchester and Leeds do and London.

You should be able to find it in the chinese supermakets there.

Otherswise your local chinese takeaway may be able to sell you some or tell you where they get it or how they make it.
