That should so be my username I am just that a spoilt posh girl and living up to my reputation I always buy organic cos it tastes nicer and looks better in the supermarket trolley.
They are no good for you, that's why! Who knows what they are adding. Usually stuff you don't need like salt, sugar, preservatives, colouring etc
We usually buy as much organic stuff as possible but we NEVER buy anything with aspartame in it.The negative health implications of that sweetener have been well documented for 20 years. I'd just prefer my kids not to be full of toxic crap and have proper, normal food.

I tend not to, although I don't buy organic I do buy meat from the butchers and fruit/veg from the greengrocers and make a lot of our meals from scratch. I do find that if I eat something with additives in it I end up feeling quite sicky afterwards.

Last week I was in town late on a Sunday night and was starving, the only place open was McDonalds so I thought I'd grab a burger - wish i hadn't it was the 1st MD's I've had in years and I woke up the next day feeling as though I had a hangover (hadn't been drinking) and these awful stomach cramps.

I do, however, have the odd can of coke or bag of sweets but, again, they send me hyper!

Never! I cut them all out, and now when I do have something with MSG in it or, suchlike I get the above hangover symptoms! My whole body is so much impoved for it too. Plus you feel fuller - additives make you rave more addidtives so you eat more!

Whenever possible I do. Why put crap in your body if you dont have to.
Lots of food products have additives in them that are not declared, the manufacturers call them processing aids and therefore they legally do not need declared on the label. In Britain the big supermarkets are more aware of these but they still are present if it suits the product to help with shelf life or colour. I would even question (only) some organic products. The food processors will only declare things that they are required to and print labels the way that will read well.
