I've gone off Tesco lately. We have a new model the size of several aircraft hangars and a real b****r to get round. You need a plan of campaign and floor diagram before setting out otherwise you will spend a morning of bemused wandering.
Our Sainsbury's has a dreadful layout but quite likeable in an eccentric sort of way. So, we tend to use Sainsbury's and Morrison's with Tesco as a last resort.
Why is it these mammoth companies have highly paid personnel supposedly designing these monoliths and still can't get it right??
Sainsburys everytime! The staff are very friendly and helpful, also with the loyalty card you actually get money off your bill. At Tesco you are sent vouchers which dictate which products you can use them on. The only minus point for Sainsburys is - stock your shelves properly!!!!!!!! Many times I've gone there to do my shopping (I live 10 miles from the store) only to find several empty shelves!!!!! You sometimes can't even get the most basic thing on your list because they've let the stock run out completeley before reordering!!
