Why do people keep trying to come up with weird pizza like "barbeque chicken pizza"?

In the light of all the 'celebrity chef' stuff that's being rammed down our throats daily, (metaphorically speaking), chefs are tripping over themselves to come up with all sorts of new weird and wonderful recipies. For fast food outlets, it's all down to 'more sales'. (They hope).

one of our local pizza places has come up with tuna and banana!!! yuk!!!!!

Bbq chicken pizza is awesome! Gonna have to try the tuna and banana one but my fave has to be anchovy, smoked bacon and pineapple. Try it it's awesome!

Life would be pretty boring if not for a little change now and then.

One of the in town do a 'breakfast' pizza. with sausage, bacon, egg and beans on...and if i remember rightly, black pud!

Apparently it's a big seller.

Isn't that the wonderful thing about Pizza?
You can put on it whatever you like...

I had one when my brother with his wife and daughter was round and made it 1/3 ham, 1/3 salami, 1/3 crabs and anchovies.
Half of all with, the other half without mushrooms.

So everybody could get whatever he/she liked.

My mother always puts pineapple on it and I think that's awful...

So what if somebody likes chicken on theirs?
You don't have to eat it if you don't like it!
