i have been buying heinz tomato frito from sainsburys but they have suddenly stopped. i have checked most of the major stores but cannot find it or any fried tomato alternative. Does anyone know where i can find any brand of fried tomato? i am in SE10

Tesco's PriceCheck Page lists it as missing from Asda and Sainsburys, but still available at Tesco (75p - may be in canned veg section) and at Morrisons.

Just exactly what is tomato frito? I've never heard of it before!

frito is just like any passata only the toms are fried first giving it the most amazing flavour - fantastic for any chilli, bolognese or lentil dish.
