Leaving aside a stupidity last year which had me sweating in pain in my underpants in the garden at 3am, I have just done a goodun. I fried 1lb of chicken in sunflower oil and crushed hot red chillies. I then added a pinch of dried crushed habaneros and 3 dried whole habaneros. Then a jar of Sharwoods Sag Masala to give a bit of liquid. Then a tablespoon of Kitchen Magic extra hot West Indian peppers (i.e. Scotch Bonnets), a teaspoon of English Provender Extra Lazy Garlic, and bubbled it for 5 minutes.

It tastes something special I can tell you ! Hot hot hot - but not insanely hot.

Have you ever gone for a really hot one, and how did you cook it ?

OMG!! your going to have to put your loo roll in the freezer, after eating that! :))))
I used to make a Phall almost every night . Or usually do a 'batch' of it twice a week .
Curry shop ones just aint hot enough !

But after a couple of months , my stomach lining collapsed ,simply burnt away by the chillies ! this resulted in Gastro interitis , which stayed for about a month .

still , youv'e got to laugh , am now building myself back up to tackle the beast once more , but am only up to madras at the moment !!!
Why? I like chiilies and spicy food but if you can't taste it what is the point?
Free your mind .
Use Mustard Oil for the frying bit -it'll knock things up a degree or two on the hotness scale.
and you enjoyed it??
