Thank you both so much - will do - happy eating to both of you
Ive read you should never re-heat rice, the bacteria multiplies when heated...google on reheating foodstuff - probs to late now? :(
Reheating rice is fine so long as it has been refrigerated immediately and is heated up well before eating. Cold temperatures make bacteria dormant and boiling destroys it. Its only when it sits around at room temperature that the bacteria begins to multiply
Yes I always do this ith m chinese as I feel it's better than eaing it all on the one night - especially if I'm tryihg to lose weight I fewel it's not overdloing it then.
PatriciaH is correct...the bacteria will lie dormant in the rice but you would not kill it by reheating it in the microwave as it will not be boiled. Therefore, in fact the bacteria will be encouraged to breed by the raising of the temperature.
