My 21 month old son has been on SMA LF since he was 8 weeks old. on the tin it says that adults can use it. It has no lactose in it.

He has it on perscription which we then get from boots. it costs 4.95 a tin otherwise and is about 495g

if you want it so it will keep for ages, you could try freezing the soya milk in ice cube trays and using as and when

Thanx for all the replies. I asked in Holland & Barrett today but they said they did not sell such a thing. Saw in boots that you can get lactose-free baby formula as mentioned - it was soya versions mentioned but very dear so I looked in tesco's and bought a 900g tin for 6.98 of Infasoy - I will try the SMA LF one another time.

forgot to say the boots I was in - 2 differen boots stores did not sell small tins of Lactose free or Soya so maybe I need a large boots - which is why I went for a large tin
Sorry to send you on a "wild goose chase" Aurelia. I did buy dried soya milk powder (Allergycare brand) in the Holland & Barrett shop in Reykjavik (Iceland) a few years ago, so I simply assumed that H&B in the UK would also sell it !! Hope you get it all sorted out :)
