It is delicious, you'd think that knowing how it's made would put me off but it doesn't. :-)

You will need to purchase the recipe (lots are free though), I think it worked out at about 0.70 last time I did. :o)

I think it tastes like it has a small amount of onion powder in it. I found these on the internet.
Fake kentucky fried chicken gravy
1 cup Water
1/4 cup Cornstarch
10 ounces Chicken broth
2 each Chicken bouillon cubes
20 ounce Can of Beef gravy
1 pinch Sage
***********
Cracklin Good Gravy
Blend till smooth 1 c water & 1/4 cup cornstarch (in blender).
In sauce pan over medium heat combine this with 10-oz can Banquet Chicken Broth or home
made stock, 2 chicken bouillon cubes, two (10-oz ea) cans Franco American Beef
Gravy. Stir until thick & clear.
A PINCH of sage to this does wonders for flavor. Bouillon powder may be substituted for the cubes
if you wish."

KFC Gravy
1 Tblsp vegetable oil
5 Tblsp all-purpose flour
1 can Campbell's chicken broth (plus 1 can of water)
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp MSG or Accent Flavor Enhancer
1/8 tsp ground black pepper
1. First make a roux by combining the oil with 1 1/2 Tblsp of flour in a medium saucepan over low heat. Heat the mixture for 20-30 minutes,
stirring often, until it is a dark chocolate color.
2. Remove the roux from the heat, add the remaining ingredients to the
saucepan and stir.
3. Put the saucepan back over the heat, turn it up to medium and bring
the gravy to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes or until thick.
Makes about 3 cups.
* If Campbell's is not available you can use 2 1/2 cups of any chicken
stock.*
