tignes ski resort

We are staying in tignes next year in a chalet in the les brevieres area,i am trying to find a hotel for some other friends who want to come.A lot of the main hotels are in the val claret area and le lac,does anyone know if these are in walking distance?cant really tell from the resort map.

les brevieres is some miles and 400 vertical metres below le lac/val claret. Looking at the tignes website, it doesn't look as if the resort navette goes as far as les brevieres.
