I tried it and didn't like it ..mind you i'm a strong bow fan :o)
Not tried Stowford Press...yet ...
im with you on that dave, just clever marketing, btw what ever happened to red rock, that was gooooooood cider!
ha ha im so glad ive just read that every body round here loves the stuff and i cant stand it! glad to hear im not the only one!
woo hoo with you on that crap stuff, give me strongbow any day
I can't get over the supposed 'fashion' for ice in a pint of cider...
Magners is only Bulmers brewed in Ireland, as I understand it, but with an extremely successful marketing campaign.
all what you guys have said might be true ,but come on admit it every time the advert comes on don't you suddenly get an overwhelming desire and thirst that you know can only be quenched by magners irish cider - what, no? it's just me then ..... i'll get my coat !!!!!!!
Metz...Stowford Press, very nice, but then I also like Savannah Cider so I guess I maybe a label drinker :o)
Stowford Press is great, but I can't buy it in any of the pubs I use in Birmingham :-( Most of the pubs up here sell either Strongbow, which is OK, or Blackthorn, which is poisonous and tastes of cheese. Magners / Bulmers is OK for a change, but only in the summer with ice (I don't get this fashion either, but somehow it works), and is also stupidly expensive.

If I had the choice of any cider however, I'd have to go for Thatcher's Gold
