Neither! Try reading "fast food nation" real eye opener and you'll never wanna step under those arches again!

All of this, especially blaming fast food outlets for obesity, makes me laugh. If you eat too much you get fat - your fault! Even the top restaurants in the country do not indicate how many calories you are consuming and a good meal in a good restaurant can have as many calories as a fast food meal. Personally, I don't like burger joints but I do like the odd fish supper every month or so. Also, Indian and Chinese takeaways can have high fat levels depending on what you eat. I could go on and on but I'll just wait for the flak!

Burger King or Mcdonalds.. shudder if it got to be a world where we only had two choices.. sounds like you want a world with only one; Dirty Mac. So one food company, i thought that was Nestle, one tech company, that's Micrasoft, one petrol company, that's Exxon, one police force, that's El Presidente Bush and cronies, - go for it, answerwankin, let's have total control by one corporate body. Here's to your future. :-)

I agree (partially) with einstein. answerbankin asked a straightforward question which got hikacked by tracyh. answerbok's answer was rude but where I disagree with einstein is about McD's et al destroying historic buildings. Surely that is the fault of the local planners who let them do it in the first place. Wetherpoon's have also turned a lot of old city centre buildings into pubs but at the same time keeping the original structure. As for moral issues then that's for a different category. All I wanted to say was that if you eat out it is very difficult to know how many calories you are consuming.
