From the seafood stall on Oban pier in Argyll. The crabs are still alive, so they're pretty fresh. Or you could choose from oysters, langoustines and lobsters - or squat lobsters, winkles, mussels, scallops - or have a fresh crab sandwich... worth the trip!

Almost any large supermarket in France. Last time I was on Dunkerque, one of the crabs was working his way off display....
