I really like my coke but I know too much is bad for you.

Obviously normal coke is full of sugar and caffiene, whilst diet coke has less calories and sugar but just as much caffiene, SO I have caffiene free diet coke and it's gorgeous! :o)

I was just wondering if it's bad to drink too much of it? Or whether it's ok, anyone know? Or is anyone else addicted to it?! Obviously not 'addicted' but I love it!

As someone has observed, with traditional Coke, the caffeine perks you up, and the sugar gives you energy.

So what on earth is the point of sugar-free, caffeine-free Coke?
Question Author
Because its great! It tastes the same and it has no calories, sugar or caffeine in!

If someone invented a calorie free, sugar free and caffeine free cake, I bet people wouldn't ask what the point of it was!
Good for you.
Caffeine is bad for you as we all know, but most of us drink it in some form or another.
Coca cola has 8 teaspoons of sugar in it, while sugar free has none.
Cannot see if being harmful to you in any way.
fair play on your drink choice princess! i prefer diet cherry coke as i hate the sugary feeling left on your teeth after drinking 'full fat' ,but on the healthy matter some would say that it is actually the carbonated bubbles that are the bad thingso just let it go flat in the bottle and then there will be nothing wrong surely?!!!! hee hee just like if a product is reduced in the shops to half price there is surely only half the calories!! i like that theory!! happy drinking x
Has it got Aspartame in it like most diet drinks?
If it has google aspartame before you drink it.
Apparently the process involved in taking out the caffeine leaves the drink just as bad for you, not sure why, but I have read many times that decaf is not what its cracked up to be. Also sugar free drinks aren't that good for you either as they have something in them which can make you put on weight.
A lot of sugarfree drinks contain sorbitol which can cause severe diarrehoa.
see http://www.lactose.co.uk all additives & e numbers are listed here.
also look to se if it containes phenaline as this can cause cancer.
