Both Glayva and Drambuie are famous Scottish liqueurs which blend whisky with herbs and honey. I'm not sure, hoewever, about the name, Daniel Williams.
How about Tullamore Dew?
But on second thoughts, wasn't that Irish? Tell you what...I'll stop now and wander off into the night!
Ah! So Mog should really have written "Irish" and "whiskey" rather than "Scottish" and "whisky". Makes a substantial difference, really!
So, take your pick, Mog...do you want the Scottish angle - Glayva or Drambuie - or the Daniel Williams angle - Tullamore Dew? I knew one of them had to be right!
Glayva is made by "The Glyva Liqueur Company, Edinburgh" - so no obvious Daniel Williams connection there.
Beryllium and Tel B, If you click on Gef's link above and scroll down to the section headed "Daniel E Williams", you will find that the answer Mog is looking for is quite clearly 'Tullamore Dew'.
