Also I have heard stories about people putting the same amount and more back on after finishing the diet. Stick to weightwatchers, much more sensible and successful!

I think it is sensible to have a low card diet as long as you don't cut it out completely, or at the very least change your normal carbs to more healthy ones i.e. wholemeal bread instead of white, brown rice instead of white, baked potatoes instead of oven chips, etc.
I certainly find that swapping bad carbs for better carbs, eating them earlier in the day and eating healthily and exercising changs my body shape. The fewer carbs I eat the less bloated I am around my tummy.

Yes, its funny but i'm thinking of doing that monday, i feel less bloated when i do it aswell. I am training to become a nutritionist at the moment and yes good wholegrain foods are the better choices, and there are ways around the nutrients its just knowing what, the B complex is what you need to make sure you are getting if you are 'lowering'carbs, plus get extra vitamin B6 as this is needed to help metabolise extra protein, but ensure you have plenty of veg accompanying all meals....plus some low carb fruits such as berries...
