I have just cooked a duck, is there any point in making stock with the carcass and if so any ideas what I can use it for? Apologies if this sounds stupid but have never cooked a duck before, can I just use it as I would chicken stock, say soup for example?

many thanks
warpig.

Yes, just make and use as you would chicken stock.
Make sure that you cool it completely in the fridge before you use or freeze it as you will probably find there will be a layer of fat that you'll want to remove.
keep the fat for making the best roast potatoes ever - keep it in a jar in the fridge till you need it
