Hi everyone, I'm cooking a leg of lamb on Sunday.
Does anyone have any tips on how to make sure it is nice and tender?

Thanks x

Well personally I prepare as normal, studding with garlic and rosemary, seasoning generously and rubbing with olive oil. The difference is I then put it on the lowest temp in my oven and leave it for 6/7 hours. I guarantee melting tenderness.

Thanks indianwells, that's what I thought - cook it nice and slow!!

Hi, how about trying something a bit different like:-

Leg of Lamb with Garlic, Rosemary, and Anchovies served with Roast Vegetables and Salsa Verde

Anchovies, garlic, and rosemary add a delicious depth of flavour to roast lamb in a Mediterranean-inspired meal

You can get this and loads of other recipes from a UKTV Food search on Google. Just type in "Leg of Lamb" and hundreds of dishes will come up.
