I used to have an obsession with woolies pick n mix raspberry ruffles!!
Oh gosh, a guilty memory has just surfaced.....we used to feed Space Dust to the dog and fall about laughing while he crackled excitedly and wagged his tail like a dog possessed!!
lol@nutgoneflake !!! :-)
I haven't seen the triangle ice block we used to call a jubbly . Used to have to cut it open , it seemed huge and it froze your hands.:-)
Oh , and of course the nice bag of sweets you could choose from the ha'penny selection , taking your time to choose while the shopkeeper got impatient .
Morning bigmamma! I was too shy to put anything on the 'favourite ebayers' thread - still feel too new! - so thanks for your vote! xxx
Oh, Refreshers aswell btw. I had a huge cardboard tube sort of pencil case that looked like a huge tube of them. We used to take off the plastic ends and let the hamster crawl through it.
All my 'sweet' memories seem to involve animals......?!
I know psychick, I should feel guilty, but I'm laughing inside just remembering how he used to enjoy it so much!! He was a totally stupid, but gorgeous old fat thing. A totally irreplaceable, bonkers dog!!
morning nutgoneflake , hope you are well . I still like refreshers . :-)
Thanks psychick , I didn't know jubblies were still around .To think , when your little hands squeezed the jubbly yoo hard and it leapt out of its packet onto the ground , and you just picked it up , brushed the grit off it , and just popped it back in ! Ugh .
