Just bought a juicer, not great for citrus fruits but attacks most fruit and veg with gusto. Can you suggest any good combinations? Any tips for my new healthy diet? Thanks in advance!

Oh, good for you, i'm drooling. Watermelon, mmm, watermelon n carrot, carrot & ginger, carrot & celery, celery & parsley, everything, everything, everything. And, did you know that juiced potatoes is a remedy for gout. Don't forget to use the pulp for soup and ice cream. I am so jealous. Didn 't you get a recipe book with it?

Potato ice-cream? I can hardly wait! Otherwise, they sound great, Janetex - and I know just enough not to put too much ginger in. It looks like most things go in, then, and carrot goes with wverything?
Rhubarb and ginger. also pear and ginger. pea and mint similarly. Speaking as someone with a carrot allergy, they do not go with everything, they are clearly poisonous.

Thanks incitatus. I'm feeling a tad carrotted-out after a few days so your suggestions are most welcome. That rhubarb and ginger sounds most inviting.
