Whats the easiest meal you make, obviously spag bol has got to be top on the list and doesnt take long. So whats the easiest meal you put together and I'm not talking microwave or over chips :-)
Heat some olive oil gently, thinly slice a fat garlic clove and add to the pan with some salt, pepper and a pinch of chilli flakes. Cook some spaghetti and drain and toss in the oil mixture with a handful of parmesan and some chopped flatleaf parsley. Delicious with an ice cold glass of Sauvignon blanc!
Cut up a chicken breast, stir fry until cooked, add a packet of frozen veg loads of lemon juice and a teaspoon of paprika. voila! Scrummy meal in ten minutes. Whats yours 4getmenot??
another is, make a marinade of natural youghurt and patak's tikka masala curry paste.
chop chicken breast into it and leave it. (the longer you leave it the more tender the chicken)
then place chicken on skewer sticks, with red onions, mushrooms and chopped peppers.
put in oven for 30 - 40 mins. delicious with salad and cous cous. mmmm
chicken kebabs, just marinade some chicken in whatever you like, thread onto skewers with veggies and slap into a pitta - i usually made a sot of coleslaw to go with it but also cheat and buy one if i can't be bothered
Oooh mini pizzas too. Bread roll cut in half for base, spread on tomato puree, add muhrooms and chop up some ham and put grated cheese on then melt under grill.
Chop 4 x smoked bacon rashers into 1cm squares and fry them up. Add a handful of sliced mushrooms when the bacon's done. Meantime cook fresh pasta. (I like the spirals). Add a jar of Bertolli Tomato and Basil sauce to the cooked bacon and mushrooms, heat through, and pour the lot over the drained pasta... If the pasta water is already boiling, the whole lot will be on the table in less than 5 mins.
spag bol is by no means the easiest, when I do one it is a whole afternoon's labour of love. The easiest has to be a packet of ham, ready mash and a tin of mushy peas. I only microwave two of those, so it's not a microwave meal and the chilli sauce proudly proclaims 'free from artificial preservatives or indeed ingredients at all'
"Caravan Stew" eaten at least once per caravan holiday - tin of Big Soup, tin of potatoes, tin of beans, tin of corn, tablespoon of pickle - mix, heat, eat!
Everything I cook has to be easy but one I don't do often now is 5 bean mix .
Put a tin of 5 beans into frypan and heat up til soft to palate taste . Beat 2 or 3 eggs with a little milk and add this to bean mix .Leave over the heat until egg mix has set . Take off heat and liberally cover with grated cheese. Place under the grill until cheese has melted.

Stick two chicken breats in a Pyrex dish, squeeze lemon over, drizzle honey and crushed garlic - make sure all meat is covered, then bung in the oven for 20mins. Meanwhile chuck some salad leaves on a plate and some new potatos on to boil.
