In the present days of healthy eating who still dips their bread in the roasting dish to soak up all the lovely fat?

Also who still has dripping sandwiches when the fat has set?

So wrong, but so right!!!

I grew up on dripping sandwiches but I could'nt eat them now. I can remember the roasting tin now and my Dad making the butties
Oh beef dripping with the jelly! Chicken or turkey dripping with the jelly! Even a thin layer of marmite before the dripping and jelly........I am drooling at the very thought.
Not a big fan of dripping (i.e. cold fat) but LOVE to mop up juices from roast meats (including fat) from the tin/bowl/plate in fact, i think in ANY meal the mopping up with the bread is the best bit! m-mmmm
I plead guilty. Beef dripping with all the black bits in - yum.
When I cook bacon I always grill it so the fat runs off. This sounds healthy until I tell you that when the fat has set, I scrape it out of the grill pan and eat it spread on toast.
That's not a meal, it's a heart attack sandwich!!
Why does the stuff that's no good for us taste so goddammed delicious?
why?
My mum cooks using a George Foreman grill. Then pours the container of fat all over her food! YUCK!! She also loves dripping.
guilty on all counts, sneakily though, love bread scraped around the bottom/edge of the roasting pan not chicken so much but beef and lamb roast. Also have bread fried in the pan after bacon removed and my fried egg on top, yolk only dont like the white, but only once a week on Sunday as a treat.long live the odd fry up.
