I have made my christmas cake a few weeks back - just need to know when can I put on the marzipan and how much time should I leave after that before putting on the icing? Can I do the marzipan this weekend and then the icing the weekend before Xmas or will it have dried out?
Do both now if you want, make sure the cake is kept in a sealed container and in a cool place. It will keep 2-3 months. We have a bakery and did our chrimble cakes today btw! lol. All iced and marzipan covered. One cake would take a couple of minutes.
