i want to make pickled gherkins i have the small cucumbers,but i only have sarsens pickle viniger will this be ok to use and if so how would i go about it
That's fine to use.
Sterilise your jars, if the cucumbers are really small put them in whole or slice if larger, put a good dprig of dill in, mustard seeds if you have them, add the vinegar, slight shake to get the air out, seal and eat in a few weeks, the longer you leave them, the better you are.
