Cherry cordial

Is there anywhere that sells cherry cordial? Or does it even exist?

Robinson's do a Cherry squash in their Barley range. Dont know about cordial though...

Yes. I bought some cherry cordial from ASDA in Southgate, North London about six month's ago. I've just searched thier web site but I can't find it....and I can't remember who made it....sorry. At least you know that it exists.

have you ever tried making your own? stuff a quart sealer and stuff with pitted cherries. cover with white vinegar. let sit on counter top for 2 days. squash cherries somewhat and strain off juice. measure juice into a pot and add an equal amount of sugar. boil for 10 min. let cool and store on shelf. to make juice just add 1 part cordial to 3 parts water. yum i also add raspberries to the mix for a different flavor. will try with peaches next

As it happens- I bought some this weekend from the Kent County Show- I don't know whether this is near to you but it's called Rochester(s) Cherry Cordial and I believe it is available over the internet- I will find out once home from work and post the URL for you. And yes- it tastes spot on ;)

try a west indian shop or one which stocks that type of product (this might be difficult if you don't live in a major city) they certianly do strawberry cordial i will have a look for cherry.

Sainsbury's do a pretty good black cherry and vanilla cordial under their own label, it's not cheap, but it's very good, you need a fair bit to get the full flavour though.

theres an old butchers shop in glasgow that sells cherry and blackcurrant cordial the one from years ago.
