when your cheese gets mouldy can you just cut it off and continue eating all of it? I do this all the time like.

why pay more for having the mould put in LOL
I do it all the time too!
Do it all the time like what?
Good point ethel.
Wrap your cheese in baking paper and store in a sealable plastic container in the fridge. This extends the life.

I've tried wrapping it in greaseproof paper, cling film and doubling it up in a sealable bag, but it still starts to go mouldy. Sometimes I find that the 'sweat' caused by the packaging itself, contributes to it.

DIY penicillin!!!!!! LOL
It is perfectly fine to cut orf the mouldy bits and eat the rest of the cheese, I do it all the time.

My Mum used to make jam and whenever we opened a new one we always had to scrape off the mould first.

Makes it taste better.

Anyway basically cheese is just milk gorn orf.

BB xx
Thank goodness it's mould on cheese and not cheese on mould! lol
If you do it all the time then you already know it's OK.

There are many moulds that grow on cheeses, some fairly innocuous, others that are best avoided altogether.

Many soft cheeses commonly get a black mould. Any cheeses showing black mould should be thrown away.

The green moulds on hard cheeses like cheddar may not be so bad for you , but they send out long thin filaments, like roots, than can be invisible to the naked eye. To get rid of most of these means cutting off at least a good half-inch of cheese from the side where mould has started to appear.
