Grapes.

Ros wine is, I'm sure, made from a variety of red grape. However, in some cases, manufacturers do sometimes make it by adding white grape varieties into the wine press.

Ros de Champagne, by the way, is apparently a little different - here, red champagne is mixed with white champagne.
Here's a good site for you on the manufacturing of various wines.
Do you mean rose petal wine? If you do, I once made it with petals and sultanas and it was WICKED.
If you mean pink - i.e. Ros - wine then it is made from red grapes which are pressed and have the skins removed from the juice after a few hours, process is known as saignee, and is sometimes used to run off some juice from a red wine to intensify the remaining red wine.

Nearly all grape varieties have clear juice so the red in red wine comes from the skins. You can make white wine from red grapes, but not vice versa.

Champagne is the only wine that is allowed to get its pink colour by blending in a little still red wine of the area, but many are made by short skin contact.
