Hi bensmum and weeal,
I have never seen them either, but if I could get my hands on a dunkin donut, I would kill for one of those. Years since I had a yummy donut the way the Americans do them.
It depends what you like, we have a Krispy Kreme shop and our local Tesco sells them too. They're worth treating yourself to now and then (go for the Devil's Foodcake .... mmmmm), but personally if I want a doughnut I just love plain sugared ring or jam doughnuts where you get 5 for 80p or whatever it is. KK are worth trying, but I don't really see the fuss compared to normal doughnuts.
Oh, and the custard filled chocolate covered ones are good too :-)
Bensmum, they are definitely lovely. As for the price, well my favourite is the plain iced ring donut and you can get a box of 6 Tesco's iced donuts for that price. Hhhmm...one donut or half a dozen donuts....I'll take the box of six please!
While I was working on reception at my local council, our Tesco started to sell these donuts.
Someone from Krispy Kreme approached me at the desk and asked if we would like some free samples and I said bring them in and I'll distribute them around.
He came back with 300.
It was a nightmare parting the greedy from the needy!
mmm, krispy kreme donuts!! love them but that does seem a lot, theres a krispy kreme shop in milton keynes that sells them but can't remember them being that pricey!
