how long does it take to do a jacket potato in a microwave

Depends on the size of the potato!!!!

I usually give it 5 mins each side and then see if it needs longer!

It cuts the cooking time in half. I usually do them for about 5 minutes depending on the size of the potato, and then bung them in a hot oven to crisp up the outside
