What is an "Iced Nelson"?
1 Answers
In the mid 1950s when I was in the RAF I used to buy in the NAAFI a cake called an "ICED NELSON" Has anyone heard of it since?
It had pastry base, then some sort of moist pudding type mix rather like a Banbury and then another layer of pastry with icing on top. It was about 4 inches square and 2 inches deep.
Thanks
Moggie
