Turkey Prices

Are turkeys more or less expensive than the rest of the year at christmas? Or the same?

No they go up in prices because the demand is more. Its a little like roses around Valentines day. Where i live, you can buy your turkey now and pay the summer prices but pick your turkey up nearer the time!!! lol

Unless you want to make a show of the bird why not take the easy option and go for the rolled breast joint. Little waste and you are unlikely to eating the leftovers into the new year. Worked for us last year.
