If I made my own fishcakes, burgers, lasagne etc.. can I cook them from frozen? How do I know the gas mark and time to cook them? If anyone has any advice or a link I'd be really grateful.

ok then ... sorry.

i believe you could go from freezer to oven and cook at regular temperature but for a bit longer. if you thaw it before baking/cooking then i would assume regular cooking time would suffice.

I would really go for defrosting the food first,as the freezer times could vary so much you would end up with a hot outer and freezing inner core, not nice!!!
I would say fish cakes & burgers would be fine to cook from frozen. Food like like lasagne or shepherds pie, have more volume to them. I would invest in a thermometer. They can be bought quite cheaply.
