I have a bottle of Bollinger champage with was given to my eldest son ten years ago. It has sat in my kitchen wine rack since. he has recently got engaged and we are invited to meet the new inlaws next week . Do you think it is drinkable.

Personally, I wouldn't chance taking along a bottle of champagne that's 10 year old to people you don't know. What an embarassment to find there's so little gas the bottle doesn't pop! Bottles have to be turned regularly and corks changed to keep the fizz but saying this if it's well corked it still might be OK . To be on the safe side I'd buy another bottle and enjoy (or not) the other at home.
I was given a bottle of champagne when my eldest son was born. We opened it this year on his 18th birthday and it was fine.
